Chichester Cathedral

Sunday the 17 of September we (Adrienne, Marta, Anna and I) went to the Chichester cathedral. This is located in the centre of Chichester and stood there for over 900 years.

The architecture comes from each century, so the Cathedral is both ancient and modern.

The Cathedral is open every day and all year with free entry, this makes it easy to visit the Cathedral for everyone.

In the Cathedral we were welcomed by one of the man working in the cathedral. He gave us a paper tour in our own language, which made it really easy to understand everything, though we wouldn’t be bothered if they were in English

The cathedral contained different chapels: Chapel of St George, Chapel of St Clement, The Lady Chapel, Chapel of St John the Baptist, Chapel of St Michael (The Sailor's Chapel).

I liked the Lady Chapel, in my opinion that was really beautiful. It was light and the stained glass made the view very interesting.

After visiting the Cathedral we went to the Cathedral gardens. Those were also very beautiful. So we decided to sit in the grass the rest of the afternoon and enjoy the nice view and weather.
