Imke Toenink
Hello,
My name is Imke Toenink, I’m 19 years old. I am an international student at Chichester College. I come from the Netherlands.
Back at home I live with my parents, my little brother (17), my sister (14) and my two foster sisters (6 and 9). So I have quit a big family. That was also really a thing I needed to get used to, being alone, eating alone etc. In the beginning I didn’t like it at all, but I’m slowly getting used to it now. And I have some friends who we discus ‘dinner dates’ with, a special evening where we cook and eat together.
In my spare time I love to sing, play piano or play guitar. I also like to read a book, or watch series/movies.
I chose Chichester College because I really wanted to improve my English, and I didn’t really know what to study in the Netherlands. After a tour around the school (Witch I had in February 2015) I decided that I wanted to spent my next year here studying Music and English, trying to figure out if I want to become a music therapist or an English teacher, because after this year I will go back to the Netherlands and study there.
