Karthika Nadarajah

I am Karthika Nadarajah. I come From France, I was born in Paris, and I live in the west suburb in Paris.

My origin is Sri Lankan. My parents come from  Jaffna, north of sri lanka on the tamil side: Sri Lanka is an island nation located in the Indian Ocean, just off the southeastern coast of India. Sri Lanka has a population of about 20 million people. The island is rich in natural resources, and has a diverse economy based on agriculture, mining, fishing, manufacturing, and tourism. Sri Lanka became an independent nation in 1948 (formerly called Ceylon). Since the 1970s, however, the country has been torn by violent struggles between the two main ethnic groups, Sinhalese and Tamils. That why some of the people moved to other countries, like my parents, to live peacefully.

I came to England in September and will stay here till March. I chose to come to Chichester College to improve my English speaking. I would like to go to university in England next year to study Business Management.

I chose England because it’s near France and I used to come when I was child; I often came to London to spend my holidays with my relatives. I visited many tourist places, for example, Big Ben, London Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Wembley stadium, and some gardens.
