Kristofer Erik Kamberg
Tere, minu nimi on Kristofer, ma olen Eestist ja ma olen 18 aastat vana.*
I completed the A-levels at Chichester College quicker than anyone else before me. Well, at least the first three weeks of the course, after which I dropped the A-levels and took the English courses instead, which I found to be more appropriate for me and allow me to get more practical (work) experience.
A little bit about my background too. I was born in Estonia, and grew up in a typical Estonian family. After secondary school I decided to take a year to think about the future. The year of thinking turned into two years working with my dad in the Real Estate sector. I saw that business and making money is actually much easier than they teach you in business school.
How did I get to the UK? I thought here there would be better opportunities for making a career. I don’t know yet if I was right, but what I am beginning to understand, after being here for a while is that there are more opportunities in Estonia than I had realised. Now I can understand my home country much better and have a more positive view of it.
I think it is essential for young people to travel around the world to get the bigger picture in terms of what is going on around them and better understanding of themselves too.
Strength and Honour!
