It’s actually not really important news, but it is quite funny (in my opinion)

 

3FM-dj (dutch Radio) Giel Beelen stopped the performance of Mainstreet during the broadcast. He thought the band was too out of tune.

 

The band made a complication from different covers and preformed this on live radio, but after a few minutes during the song Bad Blood by Taylor Swift Giel stopped the boys. He said he was planning on stopping them earlier but hoped every time the next song would be better, but it only got worse. “It just wasn’t good boys.” (according to Giel)

The Radio DJ says he never had stopped a cover performance before, “the boys are young” is one of the reasons Giel gave for the bad preformance

One of the members of the band could agree with Giel  “We did sing this medley out of tune, shit happens right?” and afterwards the band and the DJ talked about it, and can laugh about it

 

Regret

 

Afterwards the DJ, while giving an opinion about it to the news, he said “It wasn’t the intention to screw them there. I don’t know if it was good, because right now it is news. And that’s not what I wanted to do to the boys, I know they can do much better” according to the DJ who has a little regret.

“I make and radio show that consist fun and nice things to give to my listeners.  Right on that moment stopping them seemed the best thing to do for everyone. Afterwards I could have let them finish their song and saying later how bad they were.”
